Steak Marinade with Chimichurri Sauce

Ingredients
    For the marinade
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 oranges (juice only)
  • 2 limes (juice only)
  • 4 garlic cloves (peeled & finely chopped)
  • 4 steaks (your favourite cut)
  • 2 tbsp butter (optional)
  • To serve
  • Chimichurri sauce (see recipe on the link above)
Instructions
  1. Whisk all the marinade ingredients together and pour into a large ziploc bag or freezer bag. Add the steak and allow to marinade in the fridge for 6 hours.
  2. Now season well with salt and pepper, grill on the BBQ or pan fry until golden brown and perfectly charred to your liking. If pan frying add some butter to the pan and baste the steaks. Allow to rest before slicing on a cutting board.
  3. Serve with the Chimichurri sauce, enjoy!
