The Best Steak Marinade

This marinade adds so much flavour to your juicy steak.  It helps to tenderise and infuse the steak with flavour and creates a delicious steak. Ingredients
  • 4 steaks (your favourite cut - I used rump)
  • For the marinade
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 50 ml soy sauce
  • 50 ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 3 garlic cloves (crushed)
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp freshly ground pepper
Instructions
  1. Place all the marinade ingredients in a bowl and whisk together.
  2. Now place the steaks in a zip lock bag or sandwich bag and add the marinade. Place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
  3. Add the steak to a hot pan or grill, then cook to your liking, allow to rest for 5 minutes. Serve with chips or seasonal vegetables, enjoy!
