Honey & Garlic Glazed Salmon

This honey & garlic glazed recipe is such a wonderful way to serve salmon.  It is so quick & easy to make and is absolutely delicious!  The salmon was gifted to me by Bradley's - see below for a 15% discount code.

Ingredients
  • 4 salmon fillets (skin on or off)
  • sea salt & pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • chilli flakes
  • 30 g unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 lemons (1 lemon juice, 1 sliced)
  • to serve
  • rice
  • stir fried or steamed vegetables
Instructions
  1. Preheat the grill to a medium heat.
  2. Season the salmon and sprinkle each fillet with smoked paprika and chilli flakes.
  3. In a large oven/grill proof frying pan, heat the butter until melted and then add the garlic and gently fry for one minute. Now add the honey, soy sauce and water. Stir well and add the lemon juice - heat and fully combine all the ingredients.
  4. Add the salmon fillets, skin side down (if skin is on). Gently cook for 3-4 minutes whilst basting continuously. Add the slices of lemon to the pan. Transfer the pan to the grill and cook for 5-6 minuted until the salmon is slightly charred and the salmon is cooked to your liken.
  5. To serve, drizzle with the sauce and serve with stir fried or steamed vegetables and rice. Enjoy!
