Glaze Baked Barramundi
This glaze baked Barramundi recipe is so quick and easy to makes and tastes absolutely delicious. The Barramundi is a great alternative to cod, Pollock, and cod fillets. It is also known as Vietnamese Sea Bass

Ingredients

Barramundi fillets
For the glaze

tbsp
cornflour
(mixed with 2tbsp water)

dark soy sauce

tbsp
honey

tbsp
rice vinegar

tbsp
sesame oil

tsp
sriracha sauce

garlic clove
(crushed)

fresh ginger
(grated)

Chinese five spice

To serve

sesame seeds

spring onion
(sliced)

stir fried seasonal vegetables

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C fan assisted/Gas mark 5.

In a small bowl mix the cornflour and water and set aside. Now in a small pan add the remaining glaze ingredients. Heat over a medium heat and simmer for 2 minutes. Now stir through the cornflour for 2 minutes until you have a thick paste.

Place the fillets onto a baking tray and brush all over with the glaze.

Place in the oven for 15 minutes and then caramelise under the grill for 3 minutes.

To serve sprinkle with sesame seeds and spring onions, stir fried vegetables and rice - enjoy!
