Smoky, crunchy, creamy perfection! This Grilled Romaine Salad is loaded with crispy bacon, juicy tomatoes, jammy eggs, blue cheese, ranch, and golden breadcrumbs—every bite is a flavour bomb. Summer salads just got an upgrade!

- Boil the eggs to your liken (around 6 minutes for jammy eggs), place in cold water. Cut in half and set aside. Next, fry the bacon and set aside.
- Add the butter to a frying pan over a medium heat. Add the breadcrumbs and garlic and stir to coat, then cook for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring often, until golden and fragrant. Remove from the heat.
- Brush the cut sides of the romaine lettuce with olive oil. Sprinkle all over generously with salt and pepper. When the griddle pan or frying pan is hot, reduce the heat to medium. Place the romaine lettuce in the pan, cut side down. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, until the lettuce becomes charred, then flip over and cook for an additional 1 minute. Remove the romaine from the pan.
- Serve the Romaine family on a large platter. Drizzle the romaine all over with the ranch dressing - as much as you’d like. Top with the tomatoes, crumbled bacon, blue cheese crumbles, the halved eggs and fresh chives. Sprinkle the toasted breadcrumbs all over. Enjoy!
