- Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C Fan/Gas mark 6.
- Add the cherries to a pan and heat gently until they are defrosted and start to release their juices. Add the cornflour and sugar, mix through and cook on a ow heat for 5 minutes or until the sauce starts to thicken. Pour the cherries into an ovenproof dish.
- In a bowl mix the butter, flour and ground almonds by rubbing with your fingertips until you get a fine breadcrumb. Add the sugar and oats, mix well.
- Scatter the crumble mixture over the cherries and sprinkle with the almonds. Place on a baking tray and cook for 40 to 50 minutes until the topping is crisp and golden and the fruity juices are bubbling around the edges.
- Leave to cool for 5 minutes and serve with cream, ice-cream or custard. Enjoy!
